The Qur'an On Trial

36 posts in this topic

Stop dancing around again, I have already caught you out in the other topic.

A person doesn't need to understand Arabic to judge if THE Qur'an is IDENTICAL in all countries.

To be IDENTICAL is for something to be exactly the same as something else.

That is the claim of the QUR'AN.

PERFECT, UNCHANGEABLE, it has to be the same, EXACTLY.

If a dot is out of place, there is a difference.

Stop wasting my time..........

Whispers, how can you not need to know arabic to know the difference between two arabic books?

The Qoran is protected and is unchangable. You may have other books which CLAIM to be the Qoran, yet they are not. The Qoran remains there, and will always remain.

Am I repeating myself here? your the one thats dancing around Whispers.

Look at the below,

12121212121212121

11121112111212111

You see, that was for you, to show how a person can tell if something is identical or not.

Obviously the above two lines are different.

If I see one difference, (Although there are many many differences) in the Qur'an.

It is not an exact copy, and is not identical.

The two Qur'ans used were

THE QUR'AN ACCORDING TO THE TRANSMISSION OF IMAM HAFS AND SECOND, IMAM WARSH.

my dear whispers, I shall quote myself again and this time, read my post.

The Qoran is protected and is unchangable. You may have other books which CLAIM to be the Qoran, yet they are not. The Qoran remains there, and will always remain.[/quote:a2a68afcc9]

There could be several books out there that claim to be the Qoran, yet only one is the true book and that one will never perish.

The Hafs' transmission Qur'an - i.e the top book, is the most commonly used Qur'an in the world.

The Warsh' transmission Qur'an - i.e - the botttom book is mainly used in North Africa.

There are other Qur'ans out there also - e.g

[img:7a9ca2c5c3]http://answering-islam.org/Green/seven/qalun50.jpg[/img:7a9ca2c5c3]

[img:7a9ca2c5c3]http://answering-islam.org/Green/seven/duri50.jpg[/img:7a9ca2c5c3]

The Qur'an that everyone has is supposed to be IDENTICAL.

"There could be several books out there that claim to be the Qoran, yet only one is the true book and that one will never perish."

So, where is it? -If there is one true book, it must be different to the ones i have presented, otherwise you would say so.

Aren't all Qur'ans IDENTICAL?

UNCHANGEABLE, PERFECT?

Unchangable, perfect and unique. Yes, the Qoran is like this. Non the less, there might be books which are entitled the Qoran and hold different and false information. These books are not the Qoran truely. Yet you ask, which one is the true?

Simple, the one which holds the truth is the one used all over the world and including north africa.

There are different sects in Islam, just like Christianity, and you wont believe what alot of these sects' beliefs are. Yet, to make a long story short, I wont be surprised if they had a different book which they claim is the Qoran. Non the less, the majority of the Islamic nation is Sunnis, and so am I and thats the book which is followed throughout the world (except for a minority). And that, my friend, is the true book.

Yet I would like to tell you that it is from you that I hear of the several Qorans. I hope I made it clear, the original version remains untampered, however much copies you might have that look different.

Take a look at the Bible which has been spoken off in other topics, the original version is lost forever. Thats what we meant by "the Qoran is protected and will never change".

"the one which holds the truth is the one used all over the world and including north africa."

But the Qur'an all over the world is supposed to be IDENTICAL?

It is not, there are many differences.

The Qur'an is supposed to be UNCHANGEABLE?

How can this be if the books are not exactly the same?

"the original version remains untampered"

The Qur'an again, I will say this , is supposed to be IDENTICAL AND PERFECT ALL OVER THE WORLD.

You lack any common sense.........

In the last century, an Institute of Munich University in Germany collected FORTY-TWO THOUSAND copies of the Holy Qur'an including manuscripts and printed texts produced in each period in the various parts of the Islamic World. Research work was carried out on these texts for half a century, at the end of which the researchers concluded that apart from copying mistakes, there was no discrepancy in the text of these forty-two thousand copies, even though they belonged to the period between the 1st Century Hijra to 14th Century Hijra and had been procured from all parts of the world. This Institute, alas! perished in the bombing attacks on Germany during World War II, but the findings of its research project survived.[/color:c1e7cd63da] laugh.gif

Sorry, I just have one thing to say.

There are two of the originals that exsist to this day. One is located in Turkey, and the other somewhere in south Asia (old Persian Empire). All and any translations are written for the masses in various languages using the originals. There are strict guidlines for translation I don't know them all but I do know this:

It must be readable and make sense to the non-Arabic reader without straying too far from the Arabic language. And it must be approved by some comittee and they put a SEAL on it, and that is how you know if you should read it or not. It is difficult to translate into some languages, and they have tough guidelines. There are people out there who have produced false Quran's, and I see you have found a few of there websites. I get those emails sometimes too Whisper. In the end we all get what we deserve for our efforts.

The Quran is meant for all times all people as it is the last of Allah's relevations. If you are going to compare two of them, make sure they both have the seal on it and you will be okay. One is available through Dar-us-Salaam. Ask Purgetory since he's going with you, He will probably know the bookstore online.

Bye!
